I’ve not done many cycle rides this year so far. No excuses but it was bloody cold and grey today and I didn’t venture out. Somehow, winter cycling is always better when it’s a bright, sunny blue sky day. I can put up with the cold when that’s the case.

What a shame, Instamapper is closing

It’s a real shame that InstaMapper is closing in December. If you don’t know, the service allows you to send GPS beacons and track your location. I’ve used it on many cycle rides and it’s normally the first app I use if I want to track my route.

I was invited on a longish cycle ride last weekend but didn’t really feel up for it. Partly because the day was cold and somewhat windy and also because I felt like having a relaxed day at home. My bad.
