I’ve been running more and more over the last two years and it’s really helped my cycling fitness. Here’s why I think it has helped me.
Normally, I set myself a cycling target for the year. A specific mileage. It motivates me to cycle more often. However, this year, I’m setting cycling and running targets.
I’ve taken up running this year and I’m enjoying it a lot. I don’t run big distances (5km is the longest) or fast times but it’s been an addictive few months as I’ve improved my running fitness. As a result, I haven’t done much cycling recently
